Below is a modest assessment of Skills that can be validated by former employers, peers, and subordinates if needed.
Joseph began programming and working with computers in 1988 under the tutelage of his grandfather, Dr Lee Simon (Multiple doctorates). Joseph learned to read while learning to program and manipulate a DOS environment. By the time Windows 3.1 came around, Joseph was well versed in building computers, and networking machines together. While only 10, Joseph was already preparing for a career in IT. During the era of dialup, Joseph decided to expand beyond local possibilities and enlist into the military. In 2003 upon joining the US Regular Army Joseph was sent to his first combat deployment and learned what becoming a leader really meant. He continued to serve over 10 years with multiple tours of combat earning many awards for leadership, merit, and outstanding service. During his time in the military he founded CyberTronic Solutions llc. (2009), to train Veterans and work with Small Businesses. In 2013, upon being medically retired from the US Army through injuries sustained, focus was shifted from Shore based Cybersecurity to Sea and Space. Work in Maritime Cybersecurity, Information and Operational Technologies Security, and the start of specialization in Operational Technology (OT), Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Emerging and Edge Technologies, and Satellite Communications. Currently pursuits have moved beyond modern Maritime Cybersecurity towards working on curbing malicious activity on the horizon, forward leaning into the defense of Maritime Autonomous systems and a Master's degree in Forensics Psychology, to consult in cases of Cyber Crime.
Joseph is also a small business owner, using his free time to farm and cultivate a vibrant vineyard. See CajunVineyards
